The Liberian Registry is pleased to announce our new Seafarer’s Electronic Application (SEA) System. The Liberian Registry continues to pioneer innovative solutions that revolutionize the way the maritime industry conducts its business. SEA System is a vastly improved method to prepare and submit electronic format applications for seafarer documents utilizing a web based interface available to all Liberian vessel owners and authorized Liberian Filing Agents worldwide.

SEA System’s easy-to-use link to the Liberian Registry’s Seafarer Certification & Documentation Department can save agents hundreds of thousands of dollars each year in shipping costs, reduce turn-around time for seafarer documentation by more than fifty percent, improve the accuracy of issued documents, and provide agents and owners with an easy tracking system to monitor the status of the applications.

The benefits of SEA System are realized by both the vessel owner/operator and the filing agent. It is our objective to encourage all of our clients to use SEA System.

As the Liberian Registry continues to streamline its procedures to provide the best service to our clients, Paper Applications are increasingly inefficient and hinders our ability to effectively process the applications of our clients who make use of SEA System

Paper Applications received after January 1, 2006 will be assessed an Application Fee of USD $10. Paper applications are applications using forms RLM273/279,

RLM105 and supporting documentation is sent via a courier service to our office.

There will NOT be an application fee for SEA System Applications.
