Dear Owner/Operator:

The purpose of this note is to provide updated information on the new Bunker Convention and Liberian Flag State Administration’s for implementation.

As an update to Operations Note 02/2008, please be advised that the official date of deposit of instrument by Republic of Liberia to the IMO is August 21, 2008. After depositing the instrument with IMO on 21 August 2008, Liberia became officially a Party to the Convention. Accordingly, applications request for Bunker CLC certificates with the required Blue Cards should be sent to the Liberian Administration as described in the Marine Operations Note 02/2008.
